A Question of Risk Management or Global Catastrophe
There are many of us out there who believe climate change, or “global climate destabilization,” is a hoax cooked up by doomsayers or individuals intent on benefiting economically from mass hysteria. Greg Craven of Oregon, USA brought up a really good point. It’s not a question of belief or disbelief, but rather, it’s a matter of risk management. We buy insurance of all kinds to protect ourselves in the event that something does happen to our car, our house, our health, our valuables, and so on. We are not even certain that anything will happen, but we fork out the money every month to make sure that in the unlikely event that it does happen, we’re protected.Well, global warming is no different. According to Craven, if we take action and global warming turns out to be false, we risk wasting a lot of economic resources and a lot of people won’t be happy. If we don’t take action and global warming is real, we risk experiencing global disasters - floods, political, social, public health, economic - and a whole lot of us may not even survive it.
Very thought provoking. Hear it from the man himself in his video “How It All Ends.” It’s time to take action. We cannot afford to do nothing.

i would play it safe. by investigating in green energy we do not only good for our planet but also stimulate the economy, which is quite not a factor to be neglected in those times of financial crisis.
so in case global warming proves to be just a hocus-pocus - what i myself dont believe it is - we wouldnt lose anything. sooner or later the fossil fuels will run out and we have to think about new energy sources. but when we start then, it will be too late already and the resulting financial crisis could be more severe than that we have now. so it’s a good time to start being GREEN!
Wow I really like your green blog.
Thanks, yanjiaren. I love yours too. Great job! I especially love the graphics
